Næstved, one of the oldest provincial towns in Denmark, was granted a municipal charter as early as 1135. Through the ages, a rich trade, craft and cultural life has evolved. Yet, despite rapid growth, much of the town’s history has been preserved.
In Næstved, you will find, among other things, Denmark’s oldest town hall and the nation’s first row houses – Boderne.
